					  We had very high expectations based on the reviews and description, but to us the property seemed more tired, dated, and missing that extra sparkle. What attracted us to this... read more place in particular was the theme of rest, relax, retreat and restore, just what was much needed. Unfortunately this was not our experience. Maybe we were just unlucky in that our choses dates coincided with both a wedding at the neighbouring hotel (a stones throw away) and other guests on the Stable House complex having a party. (Despite the ‘no parties’ as advertised). Both ran for most of the day and finished early morning the following day. There were intrusions from dogs whilst eating outside, intrusions from other guests trying to find the party. In addition loud singing and noisy (and naked) use of the pool and garden right next to this property. Beyond  midnight. Future guests who are looking for something peaceful may wish to bear this in mind! Otherwise, lovely location & the place has a rustic charm.

  Great secluded location with fantastic views and walks. The hosts were really responsive, helpful and made us feel at home. There was lots to do in the local area, I recommend Tywcross zoo, only a 30 minute drive but great value for money. The Alpacas, Donkey and Pony were also a great bonus for our little one, and it was great for us to be able to walk and connect to nature on our doorstep. Coffee club was superb with the best cake I’ve had and superb coffee (on par with Italy).The accommodation is pristine in terms of cleanliness and the hosts have put a great deal of effort into its construction. This AirBnB was our first choice out of many options and it didn’t disappoint.
